In a tight contest, Midland Dow got the better of Swartz Creek 4 - 2 at Iceland Arena on Wednesday. Midland Dow tallied up three goals to take the lead in the first period. In the second period, Swartz Creek outscored their opponents however Midland Dow kept its lead. Swartz Creek were not able to answer back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Midland Dow held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Having a good day, David Laursen netted two goals for Midland Dow. Zach Paisley and Ethan Loftis each tallied one goal for Midland Dow. Davis Milholland made two helpers. Sully McMahon earned two helpers. Healey contributed one assist for Midland Dow.

Midland Dow used two goalies in their win. Midland Dow's Tony Berta finished with 10 saves to take the win. Turning in a perfect performance, Midland Dow's Derek Striker stopped four out of four shots.
