Howell won against Grand Blanc 8 - 5 at Perani Arena Flint on Thursday. Howell outscored Grand Blanc three to two to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. In the second, Howell outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. In the final period, Howell outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead to win the game.

Having an outstanding day for Howell, Kevin Miloser scored the hat trick with three goals and also had one helper. Brendan Adams, Nick Pratt, Andrew Dominick, Casey O'Doherty, and AJ Mitter each added one goal for Howell.

Two goaltenders were used by Howell to get the win. Howell's Chris Julian blocked 14 out of 18 shots on goal to take the win. Howell's Patrick Baldwin stopped three out of four shots.

Grand Blanc finished the game with a record of 9-5.
