Grandville Wins Against Kenowa Hills 2-1

Isaac Lippert hits a goal and Grandville effective on defense to get a win

In a low scoring game, Grandville was superior against Kenowa Hills 2 - 1 at Kentwood Ice Arena on Saturday. Kenowa Hills racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Kenowa Hills kept its lead. Kenowa Hills was on top one to zero, but there was a lot more game to be played. Grandville rallied in the final period with two goals, to grab the win.

Isaac Lippert and Noah Weigle each tallied one goal for Grandville. Mitchell Parsons earned two assists. Rozema contributed one assist for Grandville.

Having a standout day, Grandville's Sean Schmeiser finished with 30 saves to gain the win.

Kenowa Hills ended the game with a record of 1-5.
