Grosse Pointe South looks to the defense to get a win

Grosse Pointe South prevailed over Dearborn Divine Child Metro 4 - 1 at City Arena on Wednesday. Grosse Pointe South racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Grosse Pointe South gained three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Dearborn Divine Child Metro failed to take the lead in the third period even though they scored one goal, and ended up losing the game.

Kyle Makowski tallied one goal for Dearborn Divine Child Metro.

Dearborn Divine Child Metro's Stephen Harvey stopped 29 out of 33 shots and so suffered the loss.

Despite losing Dearborn Divine Child Metro went 1-for-4 on power plays, while Grosse Pointe South went 0-for-8.

Dearborn Divine Child Metro finished the game with a record of 9-6.
