Fraser Narrowly Beaten By Oxford 5-3

Jimmy Wallington leads the way with a goal while Oxford makes forwards' life difficult to get the narrow win

In a close game, Oxford beat Fraser 5 - 3 at Rochester Onyx on Saturday. Fraser outscored Oxford two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams racked up one goal in the second period but Fraser kept the lead. Fraser was up three to two, however Oxford had other ideas. Oxford engineered a comeback in the third period with three unanswered goals, winning in the end.

Jimmy Wallington, Austin Kurkowski, Steven Fowler, Scott Stubenrauch, and Cody Wright each tallied one goal for Oxford.

Two goalies were used by Oxford to get the win. Oxford's Justin Gizinski turned away nine shots. Showing off a strong glove, Oxford's Nick Barrett stopped four shots to get the win.

Oxford continued their current win streak of three games and now has a record of 10-7. Fraser finished the game with a record of 0 wins and 5 losses.
