Leaving their opponents in the dust, Brighton beat Novi Wildcats 8 - 1 at Novi on Wednesday. Brighton racked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Brighton added three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the last period, Brighton scored four goals to Novi Wildcats's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

Novi Wildcats's Patrick Carney had just 35 saves on 43 shots to get the loss.

Brighton continued their current win streak of four games and now has a record of 7-0. Novi Wildcats ended the game with a record of 7-9.
