In a blowout game, Brighton got the better of Novi Wildcats 8 - 1 at KVIH on Friday. Brighton chalked up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Brighton added three goals in the second period and held on to its lead. In the final period, Brighton outscored their opponents by three goals and kept the lead to win the game.

Novi Wildcats's Patrick Carney had only 35 saves on 43 shots on goal and got the loss.

Novi Wildcats ended the game with a record of 7-11.
