Josh Bourque impresses with a hat trick as Ann Arbor Skyline a defensive stronghold to grab the win

Ann Arbor Skyline prevailed over Flint Kearsley 5 - 2 at Peranis Arena on Monday. Ann Arbor Skyline and Flint Kearsley both scored two goals to end the first period tied. Ann Arbor Skyline took the lead in the second period with one unanswered goal. Flint Kearsley were not able to answer back. In the final period Ann Arbor Skyline scored two goals piling on and winning the game.

Having a huge impact in the game for Ann Arbor Skyline, Josh Bourque made the hat trick with three goals. With 1:13 left to play in the first period Bourque put the puck between the pipes with an assist from Sam Stevens. In addition, Bourque put the puck between the pipes with 6:42 left in the second period. Sam Stevens assisted on this goal. During the third period, with 0:55 left Bourque put the biscuit over the goal line for a power play goal. Noah Wegryn got the assist on this goal.

Ann Arbor Skyline's Ethan Hiltner stopped six shots to take the win. In goal, Flint Kearsley's Tristen Younes got no saves on five shots to get the loss.

Ann Arbor Skyline ended up with a record of 9-12. Flint Kearsley finished the game with a record of 0 wins and 2 losses.
