In a close game, Avondale prevailed against Chippewa Valley 3 - 1 at Rochester Onyx on Saturday. Avondale racked up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams tallied up one goal in the second period but Avondale kept the lead for the win. Avondale never looked back. In the final period Avondale scored one goal cementing the lead and winning the game.

Luke Senkowski, Jordan Edwards, and Emmett Wagner each added one goal for Avondale. Brendan Nofs had two assists.

Chippewa Valley ended the game with a record of 0 wins and 5 losses.
