In a shutout, Dexter defeated Flint Kearsley 8 - zero at Arctic Coliseum on Wednesday. Dexter chalked up four unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Dexter gained four goals in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Flint Kearsley. With both teams scoreless in the third period, Dexter protected its lead, and was the winner.

Flint Kearsley ended the game with a record of 0-3.
