Salem handed a loss to Clarkston 6 - 2 at Chelsea Ice Arena on Thursday. Salem outscored Clarkston two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams added one goal in the second period but Salem held on to the lead for the win. Salem's defense shut down Clarkston for the rest of the game. In the final period Salem scored three goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Salem extended their winning streak to eight games and now has a record of 14-6. Clarkston ended the game with a record of 11-9.
