In a close game, Gaylord was superior against St. Clair 5 - 3 on Friday. Gaylord outscored St. Clair four to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Gaylord held on to its lead. In the third period with defenses wearing down, St. Clair outscored their opponents however Gaylord kept its lead, and won the game.

Gaylord ended their losing streak of 11 games and ended up with a record of 1-16. St. Clair ended the game with a record of 1-5.
