Derek Chaillier scored the game-winning goal with 9:17 left in the second period, as Escanaba Eskymos beat Chelsea 6 - 5 at Arctic Coliseum on Saturday. Chelsea scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second, Escanaba Eskymos outscored their opponents by four goals and took away the lead. In the third period Chelsea outscored their opponents by two goals however Escanaba Eskymos kept its lead, and won the game.

Escanaba Eskymos's Nick Vandermissen made two goals for Escanaba Eskymos and also had one helper. During the second period, Vandermissen lit the lamp without assistance.
