Leaving their opponents in the dust, Utica triumphed over Gaylord 7 - 1 on Saturday. Utica outscored Gaylord four to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Utica gained one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Gaylord. In the final period Utica scored two goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.
