Kyle Kuhr shines with a goal, Temperance Bedford relies on defense to outlast their opponents

Kyle Kuhr netted the game-winning goal with 3:38 left in overtime, as Temperance Bedford won against Carleton Airport 3 - 2 at Monroe on Saturday. Temperance Bedford chalked up two goals to take the lead in the first period. Carleton Airport tied the score in the second period with two unanswered goals. The second period closed with both teams at two goals a piece. The scoreless defensive battle continued into overtime. In the overtime, Temperance Bedford scored one unanswered goal to win in the end.

In the first period, Temperance Bedford's Darryl Kuchcinski put the puck in the net with 9:41 left in the period. Jonathan Rokicki and Grant Harper assisted on the goal. Applying pressure from the power play on the ice, Noah Szenderski got the puck in the goal with assists from Josef Molnar and Weston Swick with 2:59 left on the clock, expanding their lead. In the second period, returning fire, Carleton Airport's Carleton Airport scored a power play goal. Next, Carleton Airport scored a goal, tying the score. In overtime, Temperance Bedford replied when Kyle Kuhr got a goal with 3:38 left in the period. Noah Szenderski and Jim Schulty assisted on the goal, going ahead for the win.

Noah Szenderski made one goal for Temperance Bedford and also had one assist. Kyle Kuhr and Darryl Kuchcinski each contributed one goal for Temperance Bedford. Rokicki, Molnar, Schulty, Harper, and Swick each tallied one assist for Temperance Bedford.

Turning in a good performance, A Player made two goals in addition to two points for Carleton Airport.

Having a huge impact in the game, Temperance Bedford's Adam Glick stopped 34 shots for the win. Carleton Airport's Michael Vella had 27 saves and so suffered the loss.

Carleton Airport finished the game with a record of 0-5.
