Cooper Macdonell on fire with two goals and Traverse City Central puts the squeeze on shooters to get a win

Traverse City Central was superior against Port Huron Northern 4 - 1 at Kennedy Recreation Center on Friday. Traverse City Central scored three goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Port Huron Northern added one unanswered goal in the second period but failed to take the lead. Port Huron Northern's fate was sealed. In the final period Traverse City Central scored one goal improving its score and winning the game.

Turning in a good performance, Cooper Macdonell made two goals for Traverse City Central in addition to two points. Cam Givens got one goal for Traverse City Central and also had one point. Nico Saco scored one goal for Traverse City Central and also two helpers. Schrank contributed one assist for Traverse City Central.

Showing off a strong glove, Traverse City Central's Bill Vermetten blocked 34 out of 35 shots on goal to gain the win.

Traverse City Central added to their current win streak of seven games and ended the game with a record of 19 wins and 2 losses. Port Huron Northern suffered their first loss and finished the game with a record of 1-1.
