L'Anse Creuse prevailed over Troy Athens 4 - 1 on Saturday. L'Anse Creuse chalked up two straight goals to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so L'Anse Creuse maintained its lead. In the last period, with defenses wearing down, L'Anse Creuse outscored Troy Athens two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

In the first period, coming through for L'Anse Creuse, Player One lit the lamp without assistance with 7:31 left in the period. Next, Player One lit the lamp without assistance from team mates with 4:27 left on the clock, to get further in the lead. In the third period, things got going when Troy Athens's Kosta Karabetsos netted a goal with 3:55 left in the period. Dylan Kotora and Kyle Kosnak assisted on the goal. L'Anse Creuse got points on the board with their game when Player One got an unassisted empty net goal with 0:33 left on the clock for L'Anse Creuse, expanding their lead. Continuing the roll on the empty net, Player One got an unassisted empty net goal with 0:01 left in the period, going further ahead.

Having a huge impact in the game for L'Anse Creuse, Player One got the hat trick with four goals.

Kosta Karabetsos added one goal for Troy Athens.
