Cody Jones slaps a hat trick while West Bloomfield effective on defense to get the shutout win on the road

Shutting out their opponents, West Bloomfield beat Waterford Kettering 9 - 0 at Lakelands on Wednesday. West Bloomfield scored four straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. West Bloomfield gained five unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. West Bloomfield never looked back. With both teams scoreless in the third period, West Bloomfield held on to its lead, and was the winner.

Having an outstanding day for West Bloomfield, Cody Jones got the hat trick with four goals and also had one helper. Evan Root, JJ Bloom, Sean Wigler, Ellis Fried, and Cameron Dickinson each tallied one goal for West Bloomfield.

Leading the way to a shutout for West Bloomfield, Nolan Taylor finished with seven saves to take the win.

Adding to their victory, West Bloomfield went 3-for-4 on power plays. Waterford Kettering was 0-for-2.

West Bloomfield now has a record of 10-10. Waterford Kettering ended the game with a record of 1-14.
