Farmington Hills United overcame Lake Orion 5 - 2 at Farmington Hills Ice Arena on Friday. Farmington Hills United racked up two straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Both teams chalked up two goals in the second period but Farmington Hills United maintained their lead for the win. Lake Orion were not able to answer back. In the final period Farmington Hills United scored one goal piling on and winning the game.

Alex Minasian, Austin Bottrell, Matt Goldin, Stephen Coulter, and Sean Devlin each added one goal for Farmington Hills United.

Racking up saves in the box, Farmington Hills United's Jacob Ponder finished with 27 saves to get the win. Lake Orion's Logan Aldrich had only 32 saves on 37 shots on goal and got the loss.

Lake Orion ended the game with a record of 8-10.
