Chad Roskelly rips two goals as Macomb Dakota shuts down shooters to win the game

Macomb Dakota handed a loss to Utica Eisenhower 4 - 1 at Mt. Clemens on Friday. Macomb Dakota scored one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Macomb Dakota added one unanswered goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the third period, Macomb Dakota outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead to win the game.

In the first period, Macomb Dakota's Ronnie O'Connor netted a goal with assists from Matt Riehl and Chad Roskelly with 12:22 left on the clock. Utica Eisenhower's fate was sealed. In the second period, continuing with more scoring, Macomb Dakota's Chad Roskelly got a goal with assists from Matt Riehl and Brenden White with 14:48 left in the period, going further ahead. In the third period, in response, Utica Eisenhower's Ryan Jaros scored a goal with assists from Mike Burkhardt and Stino Biondo with 17:34 left in the period. However then Macomb Dakota's Chad Roskelly put the biscuit over the goal line with assists from Shawn Eastman and Austin Azzopardi, with 16:42 left on the clock, expanding their lead. Macomb Dakota pierced the defense when Matt Riehl got the puck in the goal with 0:20 left on the clock. Brenden White assisted on the goal, going further ahead.

Displaying offensive skills, Chad Roskelly got two goals for Macomb Dakota and also had one helper. Matt Riehl made one goal for Macomb Dakota and also two assists. Ronnie O'Connor added one goal for Macomb Dakota. Brenden White had two assists. Eastman and Azzopardi each contributed one assist for Macomb Dakota.

Ryan Jaros contributed one goal for Utica Eisenhower.

Racking up saves in the box, Macomb Dakota's Anthony Benvenuti blocked 34 out of 35 shots on goal for the win. Utica Eisenhower's Kenny Stralko turned away 26 shots for the loss.

Utica Eisenhower finished the game with a record of 18-3.
