East Grand Rapids won against Mona Shores 6 - 2 at Patterson Ice Center on Friday. East Grand Rapids scored two goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the second period, East Grand Rapids scored three goals to Mona Shores's one and kept the lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but East Grand Rapids kept the lead for the win.

In an excellent performance, Jordan Sanford scored two goals for East Grand Rapids as well as two points. Putting a first goal on the board, Sanford put the biscuit over the goal line in the second period. Peter Stewart and Matthew Golladay got the assists on this goal. Rolling on, East Grand Rapids's Sanford Sanford put the biscuit into the net. Peter Stewart got the assist on this goal. Peter Stewart, Graham Dowling, Sam Alkema, and Travis Baranoski each added one goal for East Grand Rapids.
