Jacob Lynn knocks a goal and Rochester Stoney Creek scores two goals in the third to get the narrow victory

Ian Lustila netted the game winner with 3:24 left in the third period, as Rochester Stoney Creek beat Farmington Hills United 5 - 4 at Birmingham Ice Arene on Saturday. Farmington Hills United outscored Rochester Stoney Creek two to one to jump in to the lead at the end of the first period. Both teams chalked up two goals in the second period but Farmington Hills United held on to the lead. Farmington Hills United was ahead four to three, forcing Rochester Stoney Creek to get to work in the final period. Rochester Stoney Creek rallied in the final period with two goals, to grab the win.

Jacob Lynn, Ian Lustila, Cam Scharret, Josh Niederhauser, and Dan Durst each added one goal for Rochester Stoney Creek.

Rochester Stoney Creek's Maxx Grant made 32 saves to earn the win. Farmington Hills United's Hunter Myers had only 22 saves on 27 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Rochester Stoney Creek ended up with a record of 11-8. Farmington Hills United finished the game with a record of 12 wins and 9 losses.
