Stino Biondo slaps two goals, Utica Eisenhower scores three goals in the third to narrowly win

Stino Biondo netted the game winner with 13:58 left in the third period, as Utica Eisenhower prevailed against Macomb Dakota 5 - 4 at Suburban Ice Macomb on Saturday. Utica Eisenhower and Macomb Dakota both scored one goal to end the first period tied. As the second period unfolded, Macomb Dakota outscored their opponents and took the lead. Macomb Dakota was on top three to two, but the final period would turn the tables on them. In the last period, Utica Eisenhower outscored their opponents by two goals and took away the lead to snatch the win.

Utica Eisenhower's Stino Biondo netted two goals for Utica Eisenhower. Utica Eisenhower's Biondo put the puck between the pipes for a power play goal in the third period with assists from Ryan Jaros and Mike Burkhardt. Continuing their roll, Biondo Biondo put the biscuit over the goal line. Eric VanSlembrouck and Ryan Jaros got the assists on this goal. This put Utica Eisenhower ahead for good. Eric VanSlembrouck, Frank Saputo, and Ryan Jaros each added one goal for Utica Eisenhower.

Utica Eisenhower's Mike Lester stopped 16 shots to get the win. Macomb Dakota's Anthony Benvenuti had just 44 saves on 49 shots and got the loss.

Macomb Dakota finished the game with a record of 20-3.
