Travis McNally gets two goals and Midland Dow makes forwards' life difficult to win decisively

Winning by a large margin, Midland Dow prevailed over Flushing 7 - 1 at MCA on Wednesday. Midland Dow outscored Flushing two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Midland Dow added three straight goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Midland Dow's defense shut down Flushing for the rest of the game. In the final period Midland Dow scored two unanswered goals adding to the margin of victory and winning the game.

Midland Dow's Travis McNally made two goals for Midland Dow. Rico Angell, David Laursen, Davis Milholland, Sully McMahon, and Brett Brillhart each added one goal for Midland Dow.

Displaying a golden glove, Midland Dow's Derek Striker had 14 saves to earn the win.

Midland Dow ended their streak of two losing games and ended the game with a record of 14-9. Flushing finished the game with a record of 0-3.
