Winning by a large margin, Farmington won against Waterford Mott 9 - 3 at Farmington Hills Ice Arena on Thursday. Waterford Mott outscored Farmington two to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. In the second, Farmington outscored Waterford Mott three to one and took away the lead. The Farmington defense took over in the final period. In the final period Farmington scored five goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Having an outstanding day for Farmington, Cooper McLean got the hat trick with three goals and also had one helper. Drake Cole, Nick Callis, Nick Kozoro, Trent Wolter, Nick Gensheimer, and Nick Heffron each added one goal for Farmington.

Farmington's Tom Lockner stopped 13 out of 16 shots to take the win.

Farmington ended up with a record of 11-9. Waterford Mott finished the game with a record of 8-14.
