Crestwood strong on the ice to win a close game

Justin Sims scored the game-winning goal with 2:57 left in the second period, as Crestwood handed a loss to Temperance Bedford 4 - 3 at Canfield on Saturday. Crestwood and Temperance Bedford both scored one goal to end the first period tied. Crestwood took the lead in the second period with one goal. Both teams scored two goals in the third period but Crestwood kept the lead for the win.

Crestwood's Steely MamaLakis made 24 saves for the win. Two goaltenders were used by Temperance Bedford for the loss. Temperance Bedford's Austin Grycza blocked 18 out of 22 shots on goal and so suffered the loss. Despite having a perfect day, Temperance Bedford's Adam Glick finished with seven saves.

Crestwood added to their current win streak of three games and now has a record of 4-1. Temperance Bedford finished the game with a record of 8 wins and 17 losses.
