Alex Shell is leader with a goal and Rochester United strong on the ice to achieve victory

Rochester United overcame Rochester Stoney Creek 4 - 1 at Detroit Skating Club on Saturday. Rochester United scored one goal to take the lead in the first period. Rochester United added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. In the final period, Rochester United outscored Rochester Stoney Creek two to one and kept the lead to win the game.

Michael Pelino netted one goal for Rochester United and also had one assist. Alex Shell, Nick Marek, and Max Harper each tallied one goal for Rochester United. Brunson, Boudreau, Kurzeja, and Asuncion each contributed one assist for Rochester United.

Josh Niederhauser contributed one goal for Rochester Stoney Creek.

Having a standout day, Rochester United's Kyler Patenaude blocked 29 out of 30 shots on goal for the win. Rochester Stoney Creek's Maxx Grant had 34 saves for the loss.

Rochester Stoney Creek ended the game with a record of 12-9.
