Mike Schultz drills two goals as Plymouth strong on D to win in a shutout

Shutting out the competition, Plymouth handed a loss to Farmington Hills United 5 - zip at Farmington Ice Arena on Wednesday. Plymouth chalked up two unanswered goals to take the lead in the first period. Plymouth added one goal in the second period and held on to its lead. It would prove to be too much for Farmington Hills United. In the final period Plymouth scored two consecutive goals padding its lead and winning the game.

Plymouth's Mike Schultz got two goals for Plymouth. Zach Tavernie, Nick Schultz, and Josh Smith each contributed one goal for Plymouth.

Having a huge impact in the game, Plymouth's Jarrod Maddock had 25 saves to get the win. Farmington Hills United's Jacob Ponder had only 29 saves on 34 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Farmington Hills United went 0-for-3.
