Farmington goes on the defensive to get the narrow win

In a hard fought match up, Farmington got the better of Oxford 3 - 2 at Detroit Skating Club on Saturday. Farmington tallied up one goal to take the lead in the first period. Oxford jumped in to the lead in the second period with two straight goals. Oxford was ahead two to one, forcing Farmington to get to work in the final period. Farmington rallied in the final period with two goals, to grab the win.

Connor Novack and Steven Fowler each added one goal for Oxford.

Oxford's Adam Pardonoff blocked 20 out of 23 shots on goal and so suffered the loss.

Farmington added to their current win streak of two games and ended up with a record of 12 wins and 9 losses. Oxford finished the game with a record of 13-11.
