Connor Smith shoots a goal, Pinckney clamps down to win and prevent opponents from scoring

In a shutout victory, Pinckney prevailed over Fenton 6 - zip at Arctic Coliseum on Saturday. Pinckney scored three straight goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Pinckney kept its lead. Pinckney never looked back. In the final period Pinckney scored three unanswered goals adding to their overall lead and winning the game.

Connor Smith, Kyle Stahlbaum, Gannon McLeskey, Jacob Swope, Sean O'Rourke, and Pat Rogowski each contributed one goal for Pinckney.

Three goaltenders were used by Pinckney to get the win. Showing off a strong glove, Pinckney's Brandon Dolan blocked six out of six shots on goal. Having a huge impact in the game, Pinckney's Shane Polich had six saves on six shots to gain the win. Showing off a strong glove, Pinckney's Justin Karamon finished with six saves.

Pinckney ended their streak of three losing games and ended up with a record of 11 wins and 13 losses. Fenton ended the game with a record of 0-7.
