Tom Kelly gets a goal while Plymouth clamps down to win the game

Plymouth beat Canton Chiefs 5 - 1 at Arctic Edge Arena on Monday. Plymouth scored one unanswered goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, Plymouth outscored Canton Chiefs two to one and kept the lead. It would prove to be too much for Canton Chiefs. In the final period Plymouth scored two consecutive goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

Nick Schultz netted one goal for Plymouth and also had one point. Josh Smith netted one goal for Plymouth and also had one helper. Tom Kelly, Mike Schultz, and Dean Gunther each contributed one goal for Plymouth. Mitch Claggett made two helpers. Spencer Godin made two points. Scarpello, Supernois, and Chaffin each added one assist for Plymouth.

Displaying a golden glove, Plymouth's Jarrod Maddock stopped 13 shots to get the win.

Plymouth ended up with a record of 19 wins and 5 losses. Canton Chiefs ended the game with a record of 7 wins and 18 losses.
