East Kentwood scores go ahead goal in overtime to prevail on the road

Tyler Layle scored the game-winning goal with 7:19 left in overtime, as East Kentwood won against Reeths-Puffer 6 - 5 at Big Rapids on Wednesday. East Kentwood tallied up one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. In the middle period, East Kentwood scored four goals to Reeths-Puffer's three and kept the lead. Reeths-Puffer added two goals in the third period to tie the score at five and force the game into overtime. In the overtime, East Kentwood scored one unanswered goal to win in the end.

East Kentwood added to their current win streak of three games and now has a record of 15-12. Reeths-Puffer finished the game with a record of 15-3.
