East Kentwood won against Unity Knights 6 - 1 at Kentwood Ice Arena on Thursday. East Kentwood scored two unanswered goals to jump in to the lead in the first period. As the second period unfolded, East Kentwood outscored their opponents by one goal and kept the lead. Unity Knights were not able to answer back. In the final period East Kentwood scored two consecutive goals sealing the deal and winning the game.

East Kentwood ended up with a record of 13-12. Unity Knights ended the game with a record of 0-2.
