Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic shuts down shooters to prevail on the road

Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic finished off Utica Eisenhower 6 - 2 at SCS Lakeview on Wednesday. Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic outscored Utica Eisenhower three to one to take the lead at the end of the first period. Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic added two unanswered goals in the second period and held on to its lead. Both teams scored one goal in the third period but Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic kept the lead for the win.

Two goaltenders were in the crease for Utica Eisenhower's loss. Utica Eisenhower's Austin McArdle had 22 saves on 25 shots. Utica Eisenhower's Kenny Stralko blocked nine out of 12 shots on goal to suffer the loss.

Detroit U-D Jesuit Catholic ended up with a record of 2-0. Utica Eisenhower ended the game with a record of 22-5.
