C & G Article Conference Bragging Rights

The pairings for the fifth annual Macomb Area Conference/Oakland Activities Association Showcase were released Wednesday, pitting 13 teams from each conference against each other for a one-day event hosted by the Onyx Ice Arena in Rochester Hills on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Using the USHSHO rankings to determine the pairings, the 13-game event will begin at noon, with Berkley and Marysville opening things up in a matchup of No. 5 seeds. The event wraps up with a matchup of the No. 1 seeds, Rochester United vs. Macomb Dakota at 8 p.m. It's a rematch of the same game a year ago, which Rochester won, 4-0.

The OAA has won each of the first four showcases, winning 11 of the 15 games at last year's event. The schedule for the event is below.
