On a very special regional recap and quarterfinal preview edition of the SC! Power Play Podcast, sponsored by National Coney Island and Northwestern Technological Institute, Jonathon Kidd and Sean Bali are joined by special guest, Clint Robert, the head coach of Northville High School to talk about what went down in the regional round and what to expect from this week's MHSAA quarterfinals!

The guys start out by recapping the Division 3 regionals, including wins by Detroit Country Day School, Hancock Bulldogs Hockey Page and the Division 2 regionals, where Stevenson High School and Trenton Hockeypicked up big wins to advance to the quarterfinals!

In Division 1, the guys talk about Brighton Hockeyadvancing to the quarters once again by knocking off St. Mary's Preparatory, and Dakota Cougars Hockey winning its second straight regional crown as well as West Ottawa High School's big upset win over Grandville High School!

With the Division 2 quarterfinals officially beginning tonight, Jon, Sean and Clint preview each and every game taking place, starting with Hartland High School taking on Dow High School Hockey, Forest Hills Northern High School/Forest Hills Eastern High School squaring off with Kingsford High School, Davison Community Schools facing Brother Rice High School, Bloomfield, Michigan and Trenton High School vs. Livonia Stevenson!

We then move on to the Division 3 quarters, which take place on Wednesday as Catholic Central High School plays Country Day, Big Rapids Athleticstaking on Hancock Central High Hockey, Riverview Gabriel Richard Pioneers Hockey Team vs. Chelsea High School (Michigan) and University Liggett School vs. Winston Churchill High School (Livonia, Michigan) and close out the show by previewing the D-1 quarters where Heritage High School (Saginaw, Michigan) plays Dakota, Traverse City West Titan Hockey takes on West Ottawa, Brighton High School (Brighton, Michigan) squares off with Lowell Red Arrows/Caledonia High School and Cranbrook Schoolsfacing Detroit Catholic Central Hockey! Also on this week's show, the guys continue the discussions regarding the need for seeding in the MHSAA Hockey Playoffs!
