The Junior squad played in the late game of the evening and beat the defending champion Wisconsin Seniors 5-1. Despite being outshot in the first period the Juniors lead 2-0, both by Daunte Fortner. Wisconsin opened the second period with a power play goal but that was as close as they would get. Michigan finished the game with unanswered goals from Mitch Morris, Gabe Potyk, and Brendan Tulpa. Daunte Fortner and Bryce Kallen both added a pair of assists each. Head Coach David Mitchell said "Very happy with the effort that our players gave.  We spent the last two weeks prepping diligently, and I think that came across in our play."
