Update and Registration information for the upcoming Fall season

2018 MDHL Update and Registration Information

May 25, 2018

Coaches,

With another successful Michigan high school (MI-HS) hockey season in the books and summer right around the corner, we begin focusing on the start of the 17th season of the Michigan Developmental Hockey League (MDHL).

The MDHL exists solely to develop the best high school players in the state, and to provide them with scouting exposure through league and tournament play.  Junior, college, and professional scouts are on-hand every weekend of league play, and tournaments provide additional scouting opportunities against top-end opponents outside of MI-HS.

The league provides players a great chance to prepare for their upcoming seasons and to develop their game.  Through coaching, and by competing against the best players in the state on a weekly basis, players learn what it takes to become consistent and effective hockey players every time they step on the ice.

With your support, over 200 MDHL alumni have moved on to play collegiate hockey, and over 50 have played professionally (check out the alumni list at mdhlmi.com).

This kind of success is a direct result of your continued promotion of the league to your players, and we truly appreciate it.
One aspect of the MDHL that separates us from other programs is that we don’t stop promoting players when the MDHL season ends – we will do whatever we can do help educate players, answer their questions, and find them a spot on a Junior team.  We care deeply about MI-HS hockey and take great pride in seeing players find success and become better young men.

With all that being said, here’s a brief update on some of our alumni, along with details for the upcoming season.  Please spread the word to any of your players that you think would be a good fit at the U15, U16, or U18 level:
