Following in Connor Hellebuyck’s footsteps doesn’t seem like such a bad idea.

Sunday evening, Brighton native Logan Neaton announced his commitment to UMass-Lowell, the same school that Hellebuyck, a Walled Lake Western alum, thrived at before joining the Winnipeg Jets organization.

Neaton is the fourth player from Brighton's 2016-17 team to make a Division-I commitment, joining Jake Crespi (Michigan Tech), Adam Conquest (Bowling Green) and Sam Brennan (Air Force).
