WEST POINT, N.Y - The Atlantic Hockey Association announced Tuesday that Army West Point junior Colin Bilek (Brighton, 2015) has been named the league's Player of the Week.
Bilek was a dominant offensive force on Army's top line this week, posting seven points in the team's three contests against American International. In the Black Knights' 5-3 win over the Yellow Jackets on Sunday, he posted a career-high four points, netting his first career hat trick.
"Colin had a special week," Head Coach Brian Riley said. "It is hard to score in this game, and he had seven points in three games. He was a difference maker all week and played a huge part in us getting the win on Sunday against AIC."
The Brighton, Mich., native has found the back of the net in three straight contests for the first time in his career. His six goals this season currently ranks fourth in the conference.
