There’s nothing quite like a high school hockey showcase.

At the Michigan Public High School Hockey Showcase in Chelsea - annually the largest of its kind in the state of Michigan - four days of games featured plenty of action for spectators and scouts alike.

The MPHSH Showcase, in operation since 2011, dedicated the two sheets of ice at the Arctic Coliseum for a massive showcase, featuring 40 teams playing in multiple games between Jan. 27-31.

It started with a bang, with three of Thursday’s games needing a shootout to decide a winner. In total, four games needed a shootout after a regulation tie.
