The regular season may be in its final week, but teams can already start looking ahead to what’s next.
The 2022 Michigan High School Athletic Association Boys’ Ice Hockey Tournament field is set.
Starting on Feb. 21, teams from across Michigan will begin competing in high school hockey’s official state tournament. The goal? To earn a spot at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth.
Regionals take place Feb. 21 through March 2. The state quarterfinals take place three days later, with all of the tickets to Plymouth being punched on March 5.
The semifinals take place on March 10-11, and the finals - the best day on the high school hockey calendar - will be on March 12.
Who will be left standing when it’s all over? Only time will tell.
The first step towards state supremacy begins next week.
