FARMINGTON HILLS – The Farmington Falcons broke a scoreless tie midway through the third period and went on to defeat their rivals, the Farmington Hills Unified Flyers, 3-0, in OAA Red boys hockey action Saturday night.

Jason Petras fired a long cross ice pass to Drake Cole on the left wing, and Cole had a breakaway from the blue line. Cole cut to his right, past the defenseman then scored a backhanded goal from close range off another deke to give the Falcons the lead with 8:54 to play.
