HANCOCK — Hancock Bulldogs hockey coach Dan Rouleau was in a jovial mood after his team found a way to survive the visiting Marquette Redmen’s game-tying tally with 0.8 seconds left in regulation by having sophomore Austin Salani do what he does best: score.
The Bulldogs won the contest Tuesday, 5-4, in overtime.
“That’s how we scripted it: to get the win at the end of the day” said Rouleau with a smile on his face. “We didn’t say how.”
