This is Ted's fifteenth season with the Pirates. He was an assistant coach for twelve seasons and this year looks forward to starting his third season as head coach. Ted started playing hockey at ten years old, and played his youth hockey in Livingston County, and in Jackson. During his youth he played forward, defense and goalie through midgets. His senior year of high school he played goalie for the Metro Jets, and played for Eastern Michigan University for two seasons.Ted graduated from Eastern Michigan in 2001 with a Bachelor's in Science and Secondary Education Certification. Since teaching he has earned his Master's Degree in education from Marygrove College. Ted is in his thirteenth year of teaching at Pinckney High School, and is the Student Government, Class Council, and Link Crew advisor. He resides in Pinckney with his wife Becky and daughter Rylee. He looks forward to this season with Pinckney Hockey and continuing the Pirates tradition of excellence.
